Yay!, got the lawn cut 👍, it’s been very grey here and windy but thankfully no rain ☔️, I’m now making bread, I’ve not made it before so wish me luck 😬
Afternoon all. Well, Openreach have been and gone and all seems well. The flippin' boiler was leaking hot water ( mercifully it's outside )so I had to get the plumber in " I'll be there in a hour" and he was. All fixed. " how much do I owe you?" "a tenner should cover it". Hurrah.
Blimey Hosta - d'you think he'd come up here ? I'd give him a bit more than a tenner. Stop making up your own jokes too....
That's pretty good by anyone's standards. A right breeze up the kilt out there so I've had to come in. The poor wee goldies were skittish with the wind, and struggling to get to where they wanted. The rain wasn't nearly as bad as forecast, and it was largely dry for a good part of the day. Loads of threatening clouds, but someone else was getting the worst of that. Moved the little greenhouse to the house wall, which was what we debated when we got it. Bit of a faff levelling up the slope etc, but it's all good. Other small jobs done too.
How is the bread flumpy?

Hostafan, I once had a fireman who came in , complaining of flea bites that he got in some of the houses he had to go in to check smoke detectors etc. He wanted a preventative repellant, as well as sorting the bites (hydrocortisone cream) We laughed at the time, but all we could suggest was a flea collar , like you get for cats.
