Obelixx, the garden centre is Jardinerie Du Poirier, Libourne. Not near you, further south.

    Nighties all.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I think it's wise Liri. I won't be staying here either, and can't wait to be retired and get away further north, but there are practicalities involved with it all too. I don't think my oldest daughter could live on her own, so I'll have to bear that all in mind.
Worst news of my day was Simon Mayo leaving Radio 2. They can spin it all they like, but it was a disaster when they brought Jo Whiley in. I could no longer listen to what used to be the best show on radio. Political correctness gone mad  :'(

Off to bed for me. Catch you all tomorrow - probably quite a bit if the dreadful forecast's correct  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Our son has just left, so I’ve been reading back several pages. 😀 he’s loaded up with frozen Cornish Pastie, Pea and Ham Soup, Sliced Bacon, Ham,...... and all the cat food I’ve been collecting. 😁. We had a job getting Pixel out from where she was hiding under a couch in the spare room. She obviously didn’t want to go home. It was lovely having a visit from both son and cat.

ive been wondering about real estate in the UK, since we like to watch those shows like A place in the sun....

catch up layer when youve all had a good sleep.

Busy - Thanks.  That's perfectly do-able on my way back from a trip to Bordeaux for a visit or to fetch someone at the airport if they insist on that one.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Good morning Flumpy ... the builder is here and is under the worktop with a wrench and a hammer ...

Apparently not @flumpy1 ... he didn't get home until after 10 last night as he was laying a floor with an underfloor heating mat.  I'd worry about him if I didn't know he's had at least two holidays this year and has two more booked.  Don't know what we'll do when he retires.

The back of the cupboard has been accessed and the blockage has been cleared ... now he's gone up to the builder's merchants to get a pipe to replace the cracked piece we removed yesterday ...
