    PS Friston, I think.

  • What a complicated life, LG.  No time to be bored, though...   :)

Just had a boring afternoon clearing out the cupboard under the stairs.  I now feel very virtuous, though...

Grandson now has chicken pox, poor little soul.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

At least it is not Monkeypox. Two confirmed cases in the UK, both have travelled from Nigeria. Apparently it will infect 1 in 10 who come into contact with the infected people. So an aeroplaneful of 300 people, maybe 30 might get it?  Both me and my friend developed a sore throat after flying back from Newfoundland last week.  10 minutes before landing, they must have put something in the air con system, suddenly people were sneezing all over the plane.  Maybe those Chinese who sit with surgical masks over their faces have got the right idea.

  • He farms all around there ... if you get stuck behind large farm machinery or trailers full of potatoes or onions they’re nothing to do with me  ;)

I can’t keep up with you. LG, I’m exhausted just reading your plans.

Liri, are you expecting a visit from Harry Potter?

We are still getting low 20s until the weekend, then back to a cold snap, I’m told. 😡
i suppose that’ll sort out any fruit setting in the orchard. Nothing new there.

Im on duty in the Gallery this afternoon, so I’m working out what to take to keep me occupied so that I don’t nod off from boredom. I think I’ll take my Inktense pencils and a Johanna Basford book to entertain me.

    sleep well everyone.

First to post LilyP 🥇, but sadly I’ve been up for a while.  It was dark when I first ventured downstairs, although dawn is peeping through now.  I’ve been in denial, but getting up before dawn is definitely a sign that the seasons are changing 😩.  Might even have to start wearing shoes that cover my toes today ☺️

Have fun LG - I’m sure all that juggling will pay off with some good times and good memories for you, Bow and Trill.  Have a wonderful time with the familan in Suffolk 😀😀. Looking forward to hearing about your new course.

Chicken Pox 😱.....poor little mite.  But good to get it out of the way early in life.  Hope he’s not too uncomfortable with it.

Are you feeling better this morning Fairy?  Hope so 🤞🏻

Hope Pat managed to stay awake on gallery duty 🤪

Off to a garden club lecture tonight .....putting the garden to bed for winter.  Might wear my sandals one last time, in defiance 👣💅🏻👡

Trump and windpower .....don’t get me started 😬.  Ironic that the oil refineries on the South East coast of US are now demanding that the US govt foot the bill for flood defences to protect their plants from the effects of climate change 🙄
