    Hi all.
Sorry, not been very chatty, still annoyed about the censorship thing.
Sure I will be back being irritating soon.
    Love to all.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

  • Hello @punkdoc ...  :)  please come back and be irritating ;) ... I need your sort of irritation rather than the sort I'm getting from rude and inefficient car sales people  Grrrrrrr!!!  Please join in with us again and help to make this little corner of my world bearable  :/;)

Maybe they should've spent some of the money on a sprinkler system rather than having quite such an amazing Olympic stadium?  :'(

Quiet today, only 4 posts since I posted this morning.

Took car to windscreen place as a stone hit it when in Norfolk on the dreaded A11. Couldn't get a windscreen in Norfolk for a French car without a 4 - 6 week wait so ordered it for today in Dordogne. Wrong windscreen has been delivered but they hop to fix it by tomorrow evening. I hope they do as I'm taking a friend to the Garden Club talk on Capability Brown tomorrow evening.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • @Busy-Lizzie ... just are tip from an owner of a French car ... this place http://www.cit-ren.co.uk/ is on the edge of Norwich and they're fantastic ... you may not have wanted a second-hand part ... but if you ever do I can heartily recommend them ... they're absolute stars  <3

It beggars belief that sprinkler systems aren't installed in these places. Ok, in  a fire you'll have one "room" soaked, but the rest of the building and its contents will be fine.

Still no hot water. Kettle and wash hand basin tonight. It's soooooooooooooooooo last century ( or even the one before )
    Oil coming tomorrow.
I ordered it today and was told that some suppliers are on a " 10 working day delivery turnaround"  so I asked
" Why don't they have more lorries, deliver later in the evening, or , heaven forbid, deliver 7 days a week?"
    She laughed. hey ho.
