Sounds a bit like something you'd roast and eat with flatbread but that's fine by me.

Bleh. Just to round off a pretty crappy and expensive weekend my wife bought me a choux bun from the supermarket to cheer me up and I only found out when I bit into it that the cream was very very mouldy. :s

Choux bun saga update: I emailed customer services a week ago and they've only just got back to me to say I have to go to the store to get a refund. 15 mile round trip and an hour out of my day to get a £1.25 refund. :/  To be fair they did offer me that value on a loyalty card to spend on more mouldy food. Not impressed.

Not acceptable WE ... you could point out to them that it's a matter for the Food Standards Agency  ... a while back Tesco were fined £25,000 for selling mouldy food.  Whichever SM is involved here, that should persuade them to at least put a cheque in the post ...

Just discovered this week along with my 65th birthday, that going up and down step ladders is becoming a bit of a chore. My knees are the problem - they cannot seem to lift my weight easily any more - esp when I want to stand on a kitchen chair. I am relatively slim so what's going on there???

Is it solely your knees or are your thigh muscles becoming weaker?  This happened to me (as a result of an underactive thryroid) and going up steps/stairs or clambering up a bank became much more difficult quite suddenly.

Dragged myself around all weekend rang doctor this morning for a house call as I can't get out next available two days or try 111 told girl don't worry I will ring 999 within five minutes phone rang doctor is on his way.
