I wonder if Seann and Katya may be there. I was impressed by the device of using a guitar to keep them apart (as you do !) but it wasn't the best dance of the night.

Good choreography but he was messy and they came next to last.  I rather like Vic and hope, if she is in the dance off, that she dances better and survives.

I have to say that personally,  based on that dance off, that was the right result. I won't spoil it just in case people haven't seen it,  but l wonder if the losing celeb would have fared better with another professional partner ?

Hmmm.  I thought they both did pretty poor jobs in the first round and deserved low marks but that the first couple in the dance off were even worse - sloopy, falling in, poor posture, flapping feet, ahead of the beat.  Messy.   Whereas the second did improve techinique in the dance off performance.  Could have done with a better choreography tho.

I preferred the 2nd couple too in the dance off. At least, one judge agreed!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

B L , I preferred the second couples dance as well but then I know nothing about the technical stuff , just what I see 💃🏼

It must be hard to judge the merits of any dance because the tv cameras don't show the dancers feet and legs all of the time. I have to say that I would have kept the dancer who lost though, the dancer who won looked very messy but then again watching on tv I couldn't see everything could I.

OH and I always have a moan about the camera angle.  The producers, directors and camera crews all need to adopt Fred Astaire's maxim of having a full view of the dance for the entire dance.
