I shan't miss Brendan at all. I don't see why Anton is more deserving of a good partner than anyone else - 15 professionals so a 1 in 15 chance of getting a goody and he's had 2 since SCD began but, more importantly, he's done well with utter duffers.

The pro's must have some idea of who they will or won't get based on height if nothing else. Can you imagine one of the shorter male pro's getting somebody like Kate Silverton. It would be amusing at least.
Not when they have to do lifts. Best to keep the pocket rockets together and the long and lean too. As for the others, the round ones do always slim down unless they're Russell Grant. High energy business dancing for 8 hours or more a day which is what they need to do it well.

Law of averages would mean at some point Anton would get someone who could dance, at least once Obelixx. The 'celebrities' might not know, but I believe the professionals definitely do. Plus when they show them all training for the first group dance, you can see them dancing with the ones that then become their partners.
He got to the final with Katie Dereham - I always remember him joking that he had no idea that Strictly went on until Christmas as he never got that far !
Anton has reached the semis and the final in the past ... that’s not bad ... can’t see any reason to feel sorry for him ... others also get partnered with celebs who don’t seem likely to get very far. Sometimes we’re surprised ...

I do wonder what will happen when Anton leaves - who will get the "more mature" ladies ? I know Giovanni did very well with the lovely Debbie McGee, but she was rather the exception. I can't imagine the younger dancers being very enthusiastic.
Well, on tonight's performance, I think Anton should leave asap. He clearly thinks Susannah can't dance and gave her an Anne Widdicombe routine which is very disappointing. That comedian with the hair needs to get a bit more serious about it all too.

Won’t miss Brendon
I enjoyed tonight’s programme, apart from feeling like Autumn has really arrived now Strictly is on.
