I start mine inside but they don’t go out permanently until June ... they need warm night temperatures ... a few weeks before that, if the weather is good, they go outside on sunny days and come into the dining room after tea 😂

Outside they go in at the bank holiday weekend at the end of May @Womble54, if you have a little plastic greenhouse they can go in there in April. I have never had much luck outside earlier than that. There is the danger of them becoming too leggy to move if started too early.🙂
Other sungolds I planted Wednesday are coming up. They are in a heated propagator but that still seems quick to me. They will go in the nursery area( the dining room) until looking strong then off to the heated poly tunnel. Hope not too many come up I only need 3 plants and I hate throwing the rejects away.
Sowed my Tomatoes a couple of days ago - Sungold - Santonio F1 - Brandy Wine Suddoth strain and Suncherry Premium my favourite. All go in the greenhouse permanently Late April / May.
Mine in the conservatory took only 6 days @Lyn, also twice as many as last years sowing have germinated. Good job I will have more room this year. I have never used heat other than the background heat of the room, just a tray cover until showing and at night as it can get down to 5° in the conservatory if freezing outside.
Afternoon all, could someone suggest a cherry tomato please. I went out today and couldn't find any and want to pop out tomorrow and buy some but have no idea which would be best for flavor also. I want to buy the very big tomato and am not sure is Beef Steak is the variety or just the description. Would appreciate some advice.

I was going to plant them indoors, and plant them out in mid/late April.
