Found this from last year. What are people growing in 2019?

This year I thought I'd try something completely different -
So rather than the usual suspects - Shirley, Sungold, Sun Cherry, Rosella etc, around the 10th March this year I'll be sowing-
    Rose de Berne
    Nepal
    Pannovy
    Stupice

I've not grown any of them before

    Billericay - Essex

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
  • @Pete.8 I'm also growing Nepal this year.
Plus about another 20-25 varieties :)

Yikes!! I though 4 varieties was ambitious
Good luck - we'll have to compare notes later in the season

I’m growing Ailsa Craig, Superb, never tried either of those before, and the usual Roma.  Not doing the big ones, run out of seed.
Not doing half as many, get fed up with the freezer full of them.  Probably 3 of each, they’ve all germinated so off to a good start.

I think I've grown Ailsa Craig, Lyn, but can't recall what it was like.   :/
I've got Sungold for this year, as it's always highly recommended, and also Sweet Million. I don't have room for very many though - small greenhouse/growhouse.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I usually have Sweet million, they do live up to their name!

Growing just three plants we get enough soup and sauce to fill the freezer and see us through the year ahead. Do some of you feed your entire street?!

I usually supply us, my son and daughter, and their families.
this year, son is trying to grow his own.
3 of each plant will do.   I’ve put my fig tree in the GH also having a go at growing loofahs. So not so much space.

I’m trying Sungold, Sakura and golden sunrise- all new to me! Not sowing just yet as no greenhouse so all outside, but they get plenty of sun (well, when it shines they do!) 😀
