Thanks Hosta. Strange to read about Utzon after all these years. I lived through that era. I had a boyfriend who was an architect and who submitted a plan for the opera house competition but obviously didn’t win it. 🙄
Morning all. Dove, I freeze semi-skimmed milk so always have a supply. I see that Mr. T will be playing golf a few miles down the road at the weekend. Hope it's raining heavily.
It's ok ... we've always got some steri in the garage ... I don't freeze milk 'cos I need the freezer space. I'm trying to get into new shopping routine 'cos we used to do a monthly shop for 'dry goods' etc and the rest OH would bring home from the farm shop or I'd pop up on a Friday or Saturday. I can forsee a weekly free bus trip into the city to buy meat, cheese, fish and some veg from the market ... once my shopping bag on wheels arrives ... then an occasional visit to Aldi/Lidl/W'rose or whichever we happen to be passing.

Can't bear LIDL and ALDI. Only venture into the nearest LIDL when they have specials on seed trays and the like. Shopping trolley is good for markets tho I use OH these days as Possum has mine at her apartment so she can carry heavy items like milk - always organic semi-skimmed and always UHT. Never found fresh, pasteurised milk in Belgium or here. They don't seem to realise it has to be kept in a fridge.
Our shopping habits have changed too as the nearest big SM is 20kms away so it's weekly trip with a list and a monthly trip to another so we can raid the fish and farmers' market in the morning, have lunch out and then do the SM on the way home. We take the car fridge so everything stays cool..
OH subdued today but he has been out and weeded the shadiest bed in the potager so I can plant my baby celeriac and broccoli. My hands are very achy after yesterday's efforts so just gentle planting and potting for me. No heavy weeding or lifting and double dose of turmeric.
Hope all are well and not to disappointed if you were following the footie. Roll on the 16th!
