Thinking about your Euc, Fairy. You might be better planting a Snow Gum in your climate!
    Just a thought!

Easy tea tonight - some of Hubby’s meat pies that have been patiently waiting in the freezer for such a lazy night.  Yum!

Mars is shining brightly brightly as a orange/gold colour opposite the house. We seem to see it every night lately.

Morning all. Well we've certainly had the proper drenching I asked for! Not sure how long it went on for (quite some time), but a very noisy lightning storm and torrential rain early this morning. I think things may be a little bit battered, and the water butt and all available buckets were already full from Friday/Saturday, but I'm not complaining. Bright and sunny now.

Housework this morning then a trip up town with Trill this afternoon to buy various birthday presents - mainly at Forbidden Planet for Harry Potter / Doctor Who/ Sherlock fans. Think my purse may be considerably lighter on the way out!

Haven't made a meat pie for a goodly while ... It's not been pastry weather ... maybe I should make some pasties before the weather warms up again ...

Well, I’ve managed to eat two pies, and Hubby is on his third. They really were yummy. I did throw some frozen baby peas in the microwave to go with them. Rather good. Talk about lazy. But, I don’t feel guilty. 🤪

No smokers allowed in my garden, Pat. I can't stand smoke inside or out.

Sorry, just realised I'd missed a couple of pages somehow. Didn't understand anything. Morning all! Pies sound lovely, Pat. Love pies :)

    Yay!   Radios 2, 3 & 4 are back  B)  Peace must've been restored  :D

Decided I'm not making pasties today ... realised I've had some chickpeas soaking to make falafel for tonight's supper so that's today's cooking job.  Then I have to finish sewing up OH's jumper so I'm ready to start the new project when the wool arrives ... I ordered it yesterday ...

That’ll keep you busy, Dove. Who’s next on your knitting projects?
