The covers are indeed something special, doc. I miss that very much.. ELP's gateleg sleeve for Brain Salad Surgery is astonishing. I think I kept that one.
I spend a lot of time in the car when I'm away to a hill - sometimes 6 or 7 hours, so I love being able to have what I want playing.
Should we doff our caps when we speak to you now?   ;)

Greetings all.  Sunny again here but with cloudy bits so cooler.   Been having a lazy morning after a torrid night with leg cramps.  Drinking tonic, taking magnesium - anything else?

I have all my old LPs and have recently bought a new deck which claims to let me transfer them to digital.  We'll see.  Haven't had time to connect it all up yet.  I also have a lot of repeats on CD but can't always get the right version or collection of songs.  Then there are thousands of tracks for ballroom and salsa and line dance music in my i-Tunes lists.   I use long car journeys with Possum to edjumacate her in 60s music and other stuff she wouldn't otherwise listen to.  OH couldn't care less about music in the car.

Busy - Good luck for Tuesday.  Best start sorting stuff now - what to keep, what to give away, sell, throw.   Remember when you do get a buyer you have just 3 months in France to sort it all out and it will fly.

Used to get lots of hot air balloons in Belgium but none here so far.  Bonzo doesn't like the noise and hides but Rasta would always go and bark at them as they were always low by then and looking for a landing spot and then having to hop over the nearby trees.

Early lunch today.  OH is taking Possum to a beach for a swim and I'm on potting up again and gathering them all for easy watering for OH.

    Beautiful little wrens Hosta 😍

Good luck with the buyer Lizzie 🤞🏻

I have CD’s I listen to in the car but love my podcasts too - a couple of Desert Island discs can really make the time fly 🏝

Soooo happy to have my girls home.  Although just waved littlest off on a train to B’ham to meet up with Uni mates for awhile ....at least it’s in the same time zone 😛. Off to see Mamma Mia 2 at the cinema with Chicklet this evening for some bonding time.

Currently sat in a field with Mr C getting a free view of Farnborough air show .....the things we do for love .....

Great photo Chicky.   The French air force got it wrong on Bastille Day and even 2 of the police motorcycle display collided - https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/07/14/sky-high-gallic-pride-takes-knock-french-air-force-bastille/

Enjoy your bonding time.  OH has taken Possum to the beach to swim after she complained of boredom yesterday, now that our friends have left.   She has access to a car to go exploring and a bike and 2 dogs to walk and a girl her own age next door with whom she could make friends...........   We're going to an Anglo-French BBQ tomorrow.  Hope that proves entertaining.

Meanwhile, I have babies to pot up because they are only just big enough and the ground is now far too hard and dry.   Typical.

Just finished first lot of Salvia and Penstemon cuttings, just need to prevent them overheating now.
Remember all the lovely things he does for you, Chicky.
