    Absolutely.
Crisp dry white and some olives, would be a lovely treat later.

It is.  Enjoy, Dove and congrats to OH too.

I dozed off after my morning coffee and woke up at 11.  Went to do some weeding and it's chucking it down.  That's all very welcome but it means I have to do housework!

I do.  Two dogs, two cats and my sewing and DIY habits mean the place needs a good clean before OH and Possum come home.  May as well do while it's raining.

Morning all (it might nog still be morning when I hit 'Post'). Still hot, dry and sunny here and precious little cloud, let alone rain, forecast for the next couple of weeks at least. Saw Trill off to Paris with school first thing this morning. I am the only member of the family not leaving the country this month. All at different times. It's going to feel odd.

Did another Pilates class this morning and now need to get out and dig up the dying foxgloves while that bit's still in the shade. Will give the seedheads a good shake as I do it.

Looking forward to our somewhat depleted but still exciting garden trip at the end of the week. OH is unexpectedly off work tomorrow so we've booked last minute Hampton Court tickets too - woohoo! Must remember the sun cream.

Good to see you punkdoc. And Hosta and Lyn, I can't express how much I envy you that rain!

Congrats to Dove's OH, hope induction goes well.

It’s 30 here today. Been painting my patio table and potting bench in the shade today and just come in to the cool 23 inside (25 upstairs) for a pint of squash and a catch up on the news. Hope everyone doing ok.

Hello, been reading back, what a busy lot we are!  Nice to see you Punk.

It will be hard to reacclimatise to the Uk, you may have to put up with a lot “when I was in”. Looking back I must have been a real pain!
Dove  it’s always nice to be appreciated, glad OH had good news
sorry, I can’t continue to type, have jiggered my hand with secateurs helping clear this

Another day spent mainly watering, don't know what will happen to my pots when we go away.
2 houses nearby, the ones we get on with are in France until August and our direct neighbours, who some of you may remember hate us.
Moira finished work on Friday and so far I have managed to persuade her not to apply for anything, until at least the end of July
