    Hi all.

Have just been awarded a degree in Ancient History, worked very hard for it.

Well done @punkdoc  lol .... I take it you've chosen and downloaded the degree certificate of your choice?  ;)

Congrats, Punkdoc.  My degree is in Prehistory & Anthropology. The local group is offering a short course in the “Crusades” which Hubby and I have put our names down for. Should be interesting.

    Paid a very reasonable price.
I thought I might purchase a title later: how about Lord Punk of Totley.

The music thing is an issue for me too.
I still have lots of vinyl, which sadly rarely gets played, but I can't bear to part with. I can still remember the shops I bought some of them from, and the covers have so many memories.
Moira has downloaded all of our CDs onto her phone, but some of her taste, is to say the least, dubious.
On our recent trip North, there was much arguing as I constantly skipped tracks she loved, and I don't.
I have a CD player in the car [ vital ], but also have bought a connector so that I can play my i-Pod through the car stereo. I still only have limited stuff on the i-Pod, as I never get round to downloading more.

The music in the car thing is a sort of generational thing for us ... for many years I was used to just accepting whatever the car radio played so if we're playing a cd in the car I just let it get on with it ... however if I have OH with me he skips tracks he doesn't like and I think that's because his generation grew up knowing that they had more control over what they listened to ... I just let him get on with it ... I can listen to my choices when I'm driving on my own or when I'm at home and he's at work.

He doesn't skip tracks that he knows I really like  :)

A few sites I’ve joined you have to register, then wait for acceptance email before you can post, would be easy to add that to this site, well maybe,  but it would certainly save the spammers.

That sounds a good idea, Lyn.

    Congratulations punkdoc.
