Why are experts so despised in this country / world now? If you have access to the internet, you have your fingertips on all knowledge, and place no value on experience and proper knowledge.

Everywhere you look,every programme you watch there are several ‘experts’ most barely off the pot. And, you can’t believe half of what you read on the net, that’s all probably written by the so called experts on TV. Oops! Should have been on the other fred😀

I've been meaning to say thank you to Pat for posting a picture of your cucamelon plant last autumn. Having failed with them last year, seeing that photo made me realise what the plant should end up like and encouraged me to try again. We're picking loads now - the kids love them

from the same lot who cancelled probation contracts last week because the companies were not doing the job, and then paid the companies compensation( with our taxes) for the privilege. Funny, I thought if someone wasn't fulfilling their part of a contract , they lost the contract and it was THEY who paid compensation. Silly old me. I'd not trust them to run a cold bath.
