Sep/Oct - spring could raise our hopes, but everything seems to be out of kilter this year. We’re still having minus temps each night and the days are about low teens. I’ve given up with thevgarden. Waiting for some warmth and rain.

Does it look as though we’ll have rain soon?

How very odd!!! I typed " Maximum of 19C forecast here to day" but it's not appeared . When i've gone back to "edit" it's there, but no when I " save post"
    Odd indeed.

    Good morning all  :) g'day Pat  :)
did everyone else get a Maintenance Message just now?
weve been having a cracking storm, a real Norwich Spectacular ... in the middle a flash and a bang that shook the house and made the lights flicker and Radio 4 disappeared. We're having to listen to Classic FM ...   is this the signal that WW3 has broken out?  :o

It was drizzling at 5.30 , but now we have a clear blue sky and no clouds. The lawn has greened up in two days flat.   When I say blue, nowhere near as blue as an Australian sky. I think it must be because we have constant air traffic over, and Australia has a lot less. There is nothing quite as calming as an Aussie blue sky and the smell of Eucalyptus. My eucalyptus has dropped a lot of leaves recently. I have gathered them up and my friend has added them to the chipped bark paths she has made on her veg patch.

Yes Pauline ... we have one mot far away as the crow flies.
the  rain is falling softly now and there's blue skies in the west. Norwich sometimes has some amazing storms ... someone who usually knows about such things told me that it's because we have two rivers meeting in the city and they attract the electricity ... doesn't sound right to me but it's something I hear other locals saying too ...

    Hi everyone.
Fairy, tell your friend that the dry euc. leaves are VERY flammable. Don’t drop a cigarette butt on them!
Your storm sounds very exciting Dove.
Our light is going now (5.40 pm).
Easy tea tonight - some of Hubby’s meat pies that have been patiently waiting in the freezer for such a lazy night.  Yum!
