Talking of "body part" and "everybody's bits and bobs", there was a report on the local news about a Councillor suspended for "inappropriate behaviour"
    The reporter said
" He's been suspended from committees and  removed from external bodies
Was it just me who found that really , really funny?

Sounds like one for the news quiz on R4.....one of my favourite, laugh out loud programmes 😂

Obelixx, re. The lavender sachets. I usually cross stitch on fabric and then sew them onto commercial bags.

That's a great idea Pat.   I might try it myself when I get some lavender plants going.  I bought 6 last spring but one died in the drought and the others are just starting to bulk up.

Lovely hedgepig Hosta.   As for that news item, English grammar education is sadly lacking for too many people these days but sometimes the ensuing errors of sentence construction lead to hilarity.

Chicky - glad you all had a lovely day yesterday.  Will try and download the pics later.   So slow here.   Have a lovely time with all the family.  Hope the footie doesn't disappoint.   OH is supporting 3 teams!  One of them had better win.

    Morning all.

Glad you had a good garden visiting day, Chicky, I've just had a look at your photos.

I watched the Hampton Court Flower Show last night then went to bed. But woke at 4am and couldn't sleep properly but felt too tired to get up. Dozed then read my book in bed and talked to OH about the new cottage. Still feel tired.

Thinking of going to look in antique and 2nd hand furniture shops in Norwich. New cottage doesn't have any built in cupboards upstairs. Here there are alcoves that I've put curtains across and OH has put in hanging rails.

Have fun Busy.  I love "brocante" furniture.  Sturdy and cheap and character too.
