Pat - I won't be going anywhere near a bicycle this coming weekend but the overhead shots will at least show you our local coastline - and a lot of silly men in horrid shorts and shirts on bicycles.

I have been industrious since walkies.Β  Pots all watered, the trunks on both wisterias cleaned of shoots and the trumpet vine cut back.Β  It has triffid ambitions.Β  Not designed for growing over a well.Β  Β It wants a lot more space to climb.

Yes Chicky ... but I remember when Sir Alf Ramsey was Ipswich Town manager, before he/we won the World Cup back in '66Β  B)

I used to stand in the North Stand and get very excited watching the liked of Ray Crawford and Ken Hancock. And then we had dear Sir Bobby and Mick Mills and Terry Butcher etcΒ  <3

Well that did nothing for my heart, think I preferred it when we were useless.

Didn't do a lot for my BP either Pdoc. And I felt compelled to have another glass of something before coming to bed ... night night all ... sweet dreams ...

    Evening all.

Hampton Court was fab, I'm exhausted and a bit burnt. Hope you enjoy it Liri and Chicky. I bought a lot, much more than intended. In my defence, every single plant/bulb was something I've wanted for ages, not an impulse buy. And the prices were good.Β

Am now very much in a garden-visiting mood. Luckily there's a little outing on Friday :).

Not into football here but did quite enjoy listening to people's reactions all around while I watered the pots. We watched a bit of the extra time and the penalties.

Glad to hear Possum's accommodation is sorted, Obxx, and that she's calmer. Bodes well for the weekend.
