... orange moon last night seen through the dust in the atmosphere. Lots of lightning too but not a drop of rain ... but we do have some clouds this morning ...

    Hi all
Very heavy storm last night, sadly all it did was flatten bits of the garden and keep me awake.
House is like an oven, and there is no air, feels very claustrophobic.
Today, I am going to order some bulbs, as I don't feel like I have done any gardening for days.
We are visiting SIL tomorrow, as she would like some garden advice. They have a large, probably 2 acre garden and a gardener, but would like something that looks like mine. It is flattering, but I know she will not listen to a word I say.

Careful, Hosta. You’ll frighten it away.

we’re watching the moon rise above the range opposite. I’m Advised that I’ll need to get up at 3am to see the big event.

Pat, I think I'd give it a miss at that time in the morning.

Lucky you Hosta. Hope it lasts longer than ten minutes.

I'm due for an upgrade soon (when son receives his  ;)) so then things should be better ... the the next one will have more 'ooomph' (note my use of specialised technical terms  :D) than my laptop has !!!
