Now I'm up and dressed and on my laptop ... makes things a little easier ... my elderly iphone ain't the best for scrolling ... I get a new(er) one next week
OH is working for the next few mornings so I'll go and do some supermarket shopping in a bit ... get ahead for the weekend ... it's glorious out there in the garden ... at this time of day it's a lovely dappled sunlight through the big ash tree, and the woodpigeons are cooing ... I could almost be on the farm where I grew up ... although, not sure if I ever did grow up properly ... thank goodness

Hi all. Busy on here this morning. Neighbour came round last night, told me not to have anything to do with his [step]son, and issued a few threats. That has left me in a bit of a quandary: firstly I hate my neighbour, and being an argumentative so and so, I want to irritate him as much as possible, secondly, and more importantly, I feel some sort of duty to the lad, he is only 15, he cannot be a hopeless case yet.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
You're telling me @Lyn!!!!!!!!!!!! 40 odd pages and counting and still they come!!! A special punishment in hell awaits whoever wrote the algorhythm that they're using

chicky - with the amount of globetrotting you've been doing recently, it would have been quite possible....

I don't see that there's any other option ... we all have a duty of care to a minor in need.
Also, my understanding of the law is that unless your neighbour has formally adopted his step-son then he has no parental rights.
