Just go for it [weedkiller] Clari- sometimes it's necessary, and you don't need any more difficulties. More important things to tackle I'd expect  :)
Been awake since half five Hosta. What are we like eh?
Hogs have eaten all their food and seem quite happy down in their little nest. It stayed nice and dry yesterday despite a good bit of steady-ish rain. More to come tonight and tomorrow so that should help with the dry, frazzled grass, and save me a bit of watering.

    Thank you @Hostafan1 !

Fortunately I don't feel too bad today and don't have any visits to clients scheduled so we take it easy - no doubt saying that will have just thrown all sorts at the fan!!

I'm just reading up on the impending hose pipe bans. I'd be more inclined to feel positive if a small river of clean (thank goodness) water hadn't been flowing down the street since Friday. Its been reported several times; they came and put a blue mark around it and then... then we wait.

I read on BBC this morning that unitied utilities ( they of the hosepipe ban Up North ) use enough in leaks to fill 1 1/2 baths for ever single person in their area!!

It 's on every topic page Dove  :/
Hopefully the mods will deal with it soon. As soon as you try to flag up one post - they post more so it's barely worth it.

Send him up Hosta - I've still got painting needing doing. The arm won't function well enough  for that.
    That's my excuse anyway....
    Shouldn't that be 'ma heid' ?  ;)

Bathroom and kitchen could do with a lick of paint  ;)

I use a plate for my toast in the morning. Stick it on the chopping board, with knife , under one of those netty parachute thingies to keep the flies off. When I have a cuppa at 11 ish, I use it again for a bit of cake, ditto the rest of the day then stick it in the dishwasher before I go to bed.
He sticks everything into the washer so we end up with no cutlery or crockery.
I could go on, but I have to get to the coal face at 7.30.
He's just made the bed up ,even though the cleaner is due in 2 hours and she'll put clean bedlinen on the bed.

LOL Hosta .... just leave him to it ... you know it makes sense  ;)
Clari ((hugs)) just do what has to be done ... you really don't need to put yourself under extra pressure ((hugs))
Can you not turn the fan around so it's facing in another direction?  ;)
