@chickymany moons ago when I was friends with young foolish people, a couple I knew went a-courting in their car to their local haunt, a flattish car park up t'road. After a little while the activity got slightly more...active and he who shall remain nameless let the handbrake off. It was in the way! Didn't matter, the car was in gear. All fine so far. Then who knows what happened but genius, in the throws of passion presumably, put his foot on the clutch. Nobody noticed until the earth moved with a thump. They had trundled ever so slowly down the 'flat' car park into another courting couple! There was a delay of some minutes while everyone righted themselves and got out to inspect the damage. Thankfully there was none because they were going too slowly. Nearly forty years later they are married with a grown up family and are fine upstanding citizens and still my friends. Now we're all old and foolish!

No rain for her I think, Pat! Hope you're not too chilly today.
Too much weather to see the moon here  - typical, when the sky had been clear for several nights. I'dlike to have seen it.
The spammers are all back - I've reported it, but I'm bumping up threads if I can as well to push it down.

Good morning all  :). G'day Pat  :). Quite a bit of heavy rain last night ... some puddles on the road at the bottom and standing water on the neighbours garage roof. Overcast now with occasional fine drizzle ... havent checked but hopefully the butts are full ... the blueberries will be ok.
Hope Raisin girl got some eventually and that everyone's gardens are ok :)

    Morning  Fairy and Dove.
Just home from the 90th birthday party for Regina’s mother. The local Hall was hired for it. Full up with relatives and friends from all over the country. I’ve got the most horrendous headache. The level of talk was hair raising. I haven’t experienced that before.
I’m glad to get home for a Panadol.

Morning all FG & Dove. Up earlier than usual to see Bow off to Romania. We had some more rain overnight but not much - there are some dark clouds looming, although it's bright at the moment. I'd quite like her to be able to get to the airport without getting soaked through...

Oh Pat - I know how draining that can be. Hope you can get some peace and quiet now.
Morning Dove. The rain has stopped here for now, but more to come today and tomorrow. Thunderstorm was great - loads of the wet stuff for the garden- the front grass looks visibly greener and healthier already, although it was never as bad as the back as it's shady for most of the day.

    Morning LG and Fairy  :)
Have a lie down Pat ((hugs)). Noisy parties have never been my thing. Once I was invited to a school friends party. When Pa came to collect me no one could find me ... eventually someone someone tracked me down ... under my friends bed, lost in a book. Id not even heard them calling me ...

Morning LG - hope all goes well with Bow's trip. Very exciting  :)
Hopefully the rain will keep until later  for you  ;)
Never been a party girl either, and youngest hates all that noise too - she goes out for dinner with her friends, and comes home when they all go into town clubbing.
