£100. For Hostas! Hope it’s not guilt money,  always suspicious of lovers bearing gifts.
have a lovely time spending that. There must be many more you haven’t got yet?

Morning all.  Sunny here, but we are "promised" rain this afternoon... fingers are crossed!

    Chicky - happy news!   :D

Hosta - my hubby has been away for a week.  Now I've tidied and cleaned, and washed the random clothes on the bedroom floor, I can't wait to see him on Monday... we've been married nearly 43 years.  After that time we've each accepted that the other has traits which a) drive us bonkers, and b) will never change so we'd better just get on with it.   :)

Re spam fritters.  Need that old green emoji... I have an abiding memory of having them for school dinners, and the sinking feeling when I realised I'd get the one from the bottom of the serving tray, dripping with grease...

On that happy note, I'll go and prepare some more raspberries.  Think I could live on fruit.   :D
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Right, he's gone to the shop for the day so it's time to hit the laundry pile.

Thank you for that link, Dove. It also give other plant nurseries in East Anglia which may come in handy when we move to our new cottage.

Going on a Garden Club outing soon, OH is coming this time. Must go and prepare the chicken salad which is my contribution towards lunch.

    Morning  :)
Tedious, these spammers. Hope there's a more permanent fix in the offing .....

I've got blueberry overload. They are clearly loving the heat. I may have to look for ways to preserve them at this rate. :open_mouth:

Hoping for a bit of rain this evening but I suspect what there is may fall on Hosta and Lyn instead - wrong side of the moor here. It would take a few days of rain now to make much difference to the ground but just a refill of the rain barrels would be a big help. Ho hum.

@raisingirl, They've downgraded our possiblity from 85% to 60%. Let's hope it doesn't pass us by altogether.
    Maybe it's moving your way?
