Joyce we are just terrified his helicopter flies overhead! I feel very sorry for a family member who has to be involved all the time he is up here. Did anyone else think Mrs T looked like sleeping beauty in her yellow chiffon. Very Disneyesque!
Punk is it about now you are coming up this direction.?
When it comes to SM shopping I am an absolute tart and go to whoever I am nearest. I have cards for them all. Today was M&S lovely for weekend treats
Fairy our guys are thrilled with the haylege this year. Our lambs are drinking masses, I seem to be filling the buckets every day.
Forecast is looking as if the end is nigh! Ah well Tuesday is St Swithins day so that’s the next 40 days done for
    night night

My clock says it’s 6.45am in London. Are you all having a sleep in today?

We have had a freezing wind here today. Brrrr. Sun out, no cloud, no rain (as I predicted yesterday when I saw those clouds), so a quick trip to town to stop the boredom and nearly got blown over outside Aldi which is on a hill.

    Purple indicates frosty.

Awake here Pat......just busy on the early morning watering-of-the-pots 😀

GW last night made me feel like it was the weekend already ...sadly not 🤪. One more day at the mines to get through.  Hoping to get home in time to catch some of the tennis - not watched much this year.

Our forecast says rain this afternoon ....waiting hopefully 😳

Afties Pat - hope you're not too chilly. The cold wind is a big factor though. Liked your sky pix yesterday  :)
I've been awake a while so I got up, and went to check if Harriet hog had eaten her tea in her new feeding box. All gone - so that's great. Daughter got a little video of her eating earlier which is lovely  :)
    Think it's fidget's cat  ;)
No rain yet for us Liri - glad you've got some for the garden. We may not be saying that in a month or so once it starts again with a vengeance! I'm with you on double flowers, but that lychnis is really nice.
Just shows the difference LP - you're not that far away from us, but you must have got a bit more growth. We keep missing any rain that's forecast - dark clouds appear, then disappear. I don't think we're too much down on the  haylage quantity [we share it with the farmers nearby who help cut it and bring it in ] but it may be an issue early next year if we're short of a few bales.

    Morning all.
Maybe the sun was too bright yesterday ,but the lychnis Petit Henri has the mearest hint of pink to it. I love it, and so nice to find something "new" ( to me at least )
Foggy here to day and only 10% chance of rain, but yellow thunderstorm warning still in place.
    No 1 daughter's birthday today.

Oops, sorry Fidget and Fairy. Forgot to check back properly.🤭
Chicky I’m  glad the girls are a bit north of our frosty areas, although the TV is raving about spring tide flooding around Brisbane and Gold Coast areas. It shouldnt worry them.

We haven’t watched any tennis, but don’t like to miss the cycling.  The photography isn’t as good as usual so I’m not seeing as much of the countrysidecas usual

    Morning/G’day all.

Struggling to get going this morning. I was interviewing all day yesterday, which was exhausting! Still preferable to being interviewed though!
I notice there is a yellow thunder warning for today - it feels much fresher this morning so we will see...
An excellent afternoon (and hopefully, evening) of tennis ahead -the semi’s are often better matches than the actual final.

    Have a fab Friday all.

I think you're right re the tennis AuntyR, although I reckon the two 'youngsters' are together enough to make it a good final, whichever one gets through. Hope I can get a chance to see some of it later.
Not sure which [ interview/ing ] would be worse for me. Neither would be good!
I haev trouble remembering anything that's said Pat - unless I open the site in a separate window so that I can check back....embarrassed face smiley.... :D
Is your daughter 15  16 then Hosta? You're surely too young to have any children older than that....just like me ;) My youngest is 21 next month. How did that happen?
