Amazing how each county (and France) seems to be in different climate zones. To me, they look to be close together. 🙄

I’m flopping now to let my finger tips recover.  Hubby has made some pasta with leaves from the Celeriac chopped finely in it. It’s sitting in the ‘fridge until time for cooking.
    Should be nice, I think.

Think we'll be having some sort of pasta and courgette concoction @Pat E ... possibly with the addition of some sage leaves and tomatoes and a sprinkling of Parmesan.

We’ve finished the pasta. The Celeriac leaves gave it a very nice colour and flavour. I think my plants will be losing some leaves in future. The bulbs are taking a long time to get fat.

We had some frozen stew that I’d made from bought cooked chicken ( made from the breasts because we only like the legs and wings). It all went together very well and now we are flopped in front of TV. 🤪

One line of washing out, including frock I wore to niece's wedding ... very fine cotton so it's hanging in the shade and won't be out there very long ... I'd been putting off washing it as I didn't want the sun to damage it but I got organised early this morning and it'll be in the shade for at least an hour, which'll be plenty long enough. Towels and bathmats are in the wash now.

Looks like OH is an employed chap again ... just gone into town to take them his bank details ... induction next week ... not as many hours as he wants but they've said there are likely to be more as time goes on so .........  staff discount will be handy too as they sell gardening stuff   B)

............ just answered a knock at the door ... next door neighbour's daughter with a bottle of Pouilly Fumé, some olives and cheesy biscuits ... thanking us for popping round when we had all the snow ... her father is more or less immobile now, very frail and elderly with carers calling several times a day ... he wants to stay at home, but his local daughter has her own health issues and the one who is there at the moment lives in Scotland ... bless her, we didn't need any thanks and certainly not a present, but she said that her dad insisted so ... who are we to argue ... an evening on the terrace with a glass or two and some nibbles is a lovely idea D
