Sorry I'm hopeless at keeping up, just so much on. I think of you all, often, usually as I'm watering the plants at dawn or dusk, just don't make it back to the site.
No need to water today, massive storm, last night, poor plants that were do so well looking very sad.
Big wedding this weekend, 55, catering for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at a local Château. Going to be hectic.
Anyway, hope you are all well, be back soon. Xx

Good morning everyone. Hope you all have a good day. It’s my daughter’s 53rd birthday today. We will catch up with her next week when Hubby has his endodontist appt.
Morning all 😎🌻 Had a great time at Hampton Court yesterday. Really good show this year, although one of the hottest I have ever been to. Had a few spots of rain around 5pm, but only lasted 10 minutes, so not enough to be useful. Made no plant purchases, but lots of plants noted down for my wish list, and lots of nursery details collected. I’ve never really bought many plants at shows - looking at people trundling their purchases around all day in the heat yesterday made me wonder just what sort of state they would be in when they got them home 😲. Although I suppose my alternative, of subjecting them to the tender mercies of the Royal Mail, is hardly much better 🤪
Good morning. Had planned to be up at usual time since OH's departure and walk the dogs early then hit the garden but Cosmos decided he needed intensive cuddling at 4am and I ended up sleeping in till 9. Walkies later then as I need to finish off a couple of beds I've started weeding and then get some plants in.
OH and Possum are on their way home and have already passed Amiens so 5 hours plus pitstops and roadworks. Bonzo will be beside himself.
Good to see you pop in DD and glad you're busy.
Chicky - when I went to plant fairs in Belgium you could leave plants at the back of the stand with your name on the bag and then at the end go round with a Scout with a wheelbarrow and collect them up and take them to the car in one go. Excellent arrangement.
I like RM's work so I hope they do rebuild the art school but with lots of extra safety built-in and yes, great opportunity for craftsmen and women.
Joyce - have a lovely weekend.
