I’m having one of those days where it’s sunny one minute and cloudy the next. Ive no idea what to get stuck into. Have cleaned up the back veranda and started digging over the garden where the tomatoes, zucchini’s and cucumbers were growing, rescued some marigold seedlings and put them into pots in the GH, had another go at getting drowned European Wasps out of the traps, etc. etc. I’m now flopping on the sofa with my knitting.

I think the spell checker is having a brain attack today. I’ve had to check every thing and I missed that one. Hi Chicky.

    Good morning all  :)  G'day Pat  :)
Bright sunshine and blue skies here ... very different to yesterday. Shame I have to go into the city today ... never mind ... apparently we have a weekend of lovely weather to enjoy  B)

Good morning, a very quick check in, spent last two/three days re-doing the kitchen, bought (loaded into car), assembled and fitted 6 additional new base units in kitchen, instant makeover. :) Excited to have all the new cupboard space, I spent hours drawing a plan to organise the work areas, coffee/tea making- sweet making (sold loads of ice cream sundaes since weather changed) and finally a cold drink area. Glasses, cups and plates all now in appropriate areas. I've had lots of help but sometimes you just need a couple of hours to yourself to attend to the finer details, unfortunately, that was after midnight last night. :(

Luckily the weather was a bit duff so don't feel I missed out in the garden. That is now the next project, well a continuous one but I have some big steps to make over the next few days. Sweet peas have shown their faces, so happy. Have roses on order now, Blue for You, New Dawn & Summer Wine, trellis is here already, just needs to be fixed to wall after painter has been, he had to postpone because of weather.

OK, must go, B&B full for the next 4 nights, evening meals booked tonight for pre-theatre suppers and all the excess stuff from the kitchen was put in the basement which now needs organising. Does anyone feel we just spend a lot of our live moving things around in circles?  ;)

Dove, Thanks for PM, will try & get a moment to reply, but thanks.

My very best wishes to you all, some tough things going on in people's lives, glad we have our gardens to enjoy.  :)

4 pm, Hubby called out to a fire.😡 Apparentlyits the same idiot who lit the fire a few months ago. And to top it off, we are expecking a high wind day tomorrow. Not happy here.

The planned menu for tonight has been put on hold. I think I’ll settle for scrambled egg on toast.

Dordogne Damsel, I am so glad everything is going well for you. So often new businesses struggle during the first winter.   Good luck with your second year. Ice cream sundaes sounds like a winner.
Pat, Don't they lock arsonists up where you are ? Putting everyones lives at risk! . It's not as if they don't know. When we were touring the forests of WA, there were signs everywhere. No barbeques, no  fires.
Sunny here, I had better get the greenhouse doors open.
