Chicky I am sure it was all worth it! Looked fab on tv last night
Busy, Glad the energy report was good. Not sure how we would score.  Here in Scotland all plans are proposals until all objections have been dealt with, then it goes to planning. Rarely turned down by this stage.  We just need 6 objections to require proposals reviewed. Anybody anywhere in the world can object!
DD that looks a super selection of plants.  How did the wedding party go?
Joyce you chose wisely I would love to overlook a river, btw sweet peas are in but my roses have been frosted! Looks misty today.
Very quiet without Dove in, hope the holiday going well
Must get going, have a good day.

LP., if you were to tell us how, I am sure some of us would object.

LP - give us an address and we could send in lots of objections!

The east side of our house overlooks cow pastures and countryside for miles at the mo.  I'd hate that to change.   To the west and south we have the garden and then trees and fields or trees and neighbour's paddock.  The north is our own paddock and then a hedge with some mature trees.  Very green and peaceful.

Except of course when there's a team of chaps drilling and sawing but I'm not complaining.  It'll soon be over.

I assume most people are either at work, busy in their gardens catching up with te late spring or else glued to Chelsea coverage.  I have an alcove to paint today to cover up rather dark black and white wallpaper showing a photo collage of famous NY skyscrapers.   Very dark and dull.

Tomato planting after that and pea sowing.

Lily Pilly, if you can't beat them, join them. You say you have the next field.  A field at building land price is a lot of money.

    Morning all.
Late on parade, but I've been to Waitrose and hoovered up some bargains. Only one more late Tuesday shift then I'm on Thursday 7.30 - 2.30.
LP, I'm up for complaining too. Something along the lines of " I've spent wonderful holidays in this part of Scotland and I can't see why anyone would want to destroy it........." etc etc. ;)

    I've just read this:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-44221524
Bo Jo actually believes he should have access to a , tax payer funded, private plane?
Why doesn't he negotiate a deal with BA, Easy Jet and Ryan Air etc. I'm sure they fly to most of the places he'd need to go.
