    Morning all.
We've had the hint of a shower overnight but back to clear blue sky this morning.
12 hour shift today. No more,  NO MORE. Must say NO.

Right , clever clogs. Is there a way to "block" a thread?
Some threads appear and I know I'll never ever post on them  ( something about something I don't grow, or am not interested in the subject etc ) and it would be useful if they didn't appear in my list of discussions.
    Can it be done? @NoraGW

But threads go off topic and become funny/argumentative/interesting although to be honest courgettes and tomatoes I can do without...

That's my point, there are always going to be threads to which we'll never contribute and IMHO it would be useful if we could delete them from the " recent discussions " list we see.

Good morning, lovely blue skies out there. Anyone been out to wash their face in the dew?
Pat your daughter is a saint! Poor girl, is there no one she can call? Even a cleaning agency? Do you have anything equivalent to our Mcmillan nurses?
Hosta, after weeks of sorting out notifications I found I was overwhelmed with them
I just check in when I can now, it’s working fine!
Hope you got back to sleep Dove

Phew!  That's good to hear Hosta  :D
Re threads... I find there are some that I just sort of 'screen out' subconsciously and I don't see them.
Yes I got back to sleep and didn't wake again until a little while ago.  :)

Hi again. Daughter says John fell again this afternoon and knocked the heater over and he’s cut his head. She rang his Dr earlier today and said it was getting too much for her so he organised for John to be put into respite care. She’s been waiting all afternoon for someone to either ring her or arrive to collect him, but nothing. It’s now 5.25 pm and getting dark. She sounds very desperate. ( and I’m starting to stress about her). I suggested she ring the ambulance and ask them to help because of his latest fall. I await news.
Grandson home from his first shift at his job, but she hasn’t had a chance to chat to him yet.

Lilyp, don’t know what McMillan nurses are, so I guess we don’t have them. 😏
