Hosta, the reason Devon isn't excited about The Wedding is that it pales into insignificance compared with the county's eagerness to greet us as we pass through and spend a night at The Best Little B&B in The World
And those preparations are on the same scale as that minor event in Windsor.
OMG I do hope not ... we'll take you as we find you my dear ((hugs))
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Somewhat surprisingly, I find myself taking a different view. I know that the Royals bring a lot of pleasure to many, so go for it. I also have a strange idea, that this being a mixed race marriage, may have some small beneficial effect, although I can't quite imagine what. All this from the mouth of a confirmed socialist. Don't forget to vote.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I missed out a page when I posted. I rather agree with punkdoc. A lot of people love a royal wedding and at least it isn't bad news, like wars and murders and Trump.
But I don't even know when the royal wedding is. If I happen to be watching the TV when it's on I'll probably watch some of it, unless Escape to the Country is on at the same time!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
It seems to me that the estranged family were all sweetness and light when they thought they were going to get all expenses paid front row seats. When it appears they aren't, they turn nasty to get money out of gutter press. I just wish the yanks would realise that she is not going to be Queen, unless something happens to Charles, William, George, Charlotte and Louis. I suspect that if that sort of disaster happens, we would be looking at a republic. Dove, watch out for St Ives trained seagulls. Nasty buggers if you try and eat anything outside. I have sat in the car on Smeatons Pier, eating a pasty with a couple of seagulls standing on the bonnet staring at me.

Morning all. Warmer this morning, but cloudy. Lots to do in the garden.
No wonder you aren't happy, Pat, must be very stressful. What an idiot!
