@moragb1. Hi Morag. If you google "Organic Neem Oil for plants" click on the first picture and that is the one I bought which is on Amazon. Very good service and prompt delivery. Worth the money as it will last for ages. Good Luck.
@moragb1. That's what confused me. It says 250ml with 1 litre in brackets, I got 250ml which is more than enough. Don't be taken aback when you open the bottle as it doesn't look like what you would expect. If you follow Philip's instructions of 1 tablespoon oil to one of washing liquid to 1 litre of tepid water you will be fine. I used an empty kitchen cleaner spray bottle and filled that and put the remainder in a bottle making sure I labelled it! I mixed it all in a jug first. Philip can correct me if I have made any mistakes. I am sure you will be pleased with the results. x
@moragb1 ,hope it does the trick for you and @Fran IOM . Today has been lovely and warm, but that is set to end. Potted up the dahlia (great name, Fashion Monger, as opposed to Fashion Minger), and the mixed double begonias. Checked the camera and although hedgehog didn't turn up, Mouse came looking for his friend. Hope all have had a good day and that @Valley Gardener is enjoying the first day of hols.
The weather forecast isn't looking good,..lots of rain coming in from the west to hit Ireland and the UK,..including snow and frost,..believe me this is not because its April 1st.
@Fran IOM,..Ah yes the time change,..nearly every year i get caught out,..this year was no exception,..i never noticed until i spotted the time on the Computer was different from my clock,..sooooo like you its a chore going around changing everything,..on just clocks i had seven to change.
So far nobody has reported back that they used the 'Voltarol' to say it worked for them or not,..i haven't come across a version for bath usage,..i have the feeling there isn't one.
You are very lucky to have a good Dog Walker and one that the pets have accepted,..i have tried several,..none were good at taking instructions,..i didn't think i needed to tell them to keep the dogs in my house as when i arrived home i got a hell of a shock to find they were in the Dog Walkers house,..another one had newspapers all over the Sitting Room floor,..that made me think they were not walking the dogs as often as needed or not letting them out in the garden either,..i have never had any of my dogs soil in the house as three times a day should have suited the dogs if the Dog walker was doing the job,..also getting £250 a week into the bargain.
Oh i was early posting yesterday,..there was something i needed to see on TV,..looking back it must not have being important as i don't remember what it was now lol.
@Purplerain,..You are fortunate to be paid a visit by the 'Bengal Cat',..do you know who owns it,..they are a beautiful Cat,..beautiful markings,..which colour is she,..most are Grey but some are Tigerish in colour,..your Toms are not so lucky with the visit,..i think it wise to stop her from calling before she does permanent damage to one of the Toms,..a Cat attack may only last 12 seconds but the damage done in that time can be lethal.
Ah so you poked your finger through the bag of wood bark to check the colour lol,..cheating,..i was thinking how lucky you were when you opened the bag to see the colour lol.
@AnniD,..so your Hedgehog hasn't turned up yet but 'Mouse' has,..Mice are familiar with time keeping seeing they run up clocks,..my Hedgehog has turned up very early this morning,..at four O'Clock,..it was Foxy Molly letting a few barks in the Sitting Room and looking through the glass door that allowed me to see Hedgehog,..then again at 0600 when i got a better image,..i have tidied up the area where i first spotted it so i can get a better image next time.
The location now tidy,..'Whisper' giving a demo.
@moragb1,..you are also lucky to get so much 'Neem Oil',..for £20,..you may have spotted that i only get 100ml and i pay £11.50,..i must check where i can get more for a cheaper price than i am paying.
I did try Boots here in town,..they don't stock it,..luckily there is just one shop that stocks it and they do very well with gardeners buying it,..strange Pharmacies not selling it as its also used for human uses.
Another Amaryllis getting ready to bloom,..this one is younger and smaller in bloom,..its Amaryllis 'Minerva'.
Evening @nultyphilip224. Whisper doing a fine job of demonstrating there. No sign of hedgehog tonight that l can see yet, l have only put the cat biscuits out. It is quite chilly and the next few nights are forecast to be around freezing so l suspect he will be under his hoggy duvet. Saw what you did with the mouse comment there ! I look forward to seeing that amaryllis blooming. Anyway tomorrow is another day, l don't think there will be much gardening done though.
@AnniD,..good evening to you,..so still no sign of your Hedgehog,..apart from the change to frosty weather and what ever that west wind gives you and us here,..i could well picture your Hedgehog under his Hoggy Duvet,..if its a male its also possible he is scouting around for females,..males tend to wander then come home,..females seldom wander about,..i hope yours puts in an appearance.
