Stayed up to watch the forcast late last night, fighting to keep my eyes ope, because someone had mentioned the "F" word to me. It said for my area, SE corner of UK, 10 minutes from sea and beach at Esbourne, rain all last night, and this morning, clearing later, woke up at 6.30 to brilliant blue sky, no cloud no rain any time. Huby not believing them watered yesterday evening, and lots of my pots were dry have already had to water his morning!
Cool but not cold - comfortable, sunny, virtually no wind. Glad that we had the rain on Friday afternoon - so no watering to be done outside for today.
After two days of trying to get back on here after finding I was closed down for some reason I finally made it. Stockton "We are having a heat wave a tropical heat wave" they should make a song about it. Last night was sweltering the days I was off site were indeed tropical and today looks as if it will be the same as soon as the mist burns off, the sun has just lit the room up. Frank.
Same here too Allotment Boy - tropical heat wave it is not. Cool breeze, cloudy sky - great for washing or walking but not for sitting outside without a jacket.
