LilyP - some of the handy tips from the talk were .......gravel dressings for pots stops vine weevils laying their eggs, cover plants with upturned plant pots as a way of being able to mulch quickly without drowning them, various uses for old plastic lemonade or water bottles - the best one being as a guard for making sure weedkiller only gets sprayed where you want it, not at precious plants......all very clever.
Good morning Chicky and the rest of you as you arrive Still damp and misty out there ... definitely not garden weather so it's just as well we're heading to MIL's today ... a plant fair and a Visigoths to a GC and a gardening friend may also be involved
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
