  • Does anybody watch “The Great British Sewing Bee”? It’s on BBC2 every Tuesday.
    What a lovely lighthearted programme!
I don’t do any sewing myself, but am fascinated by watching other people creating beautiful clothes from scratch. It is competitive, but funny, relaxed, people support each other when needed. It’s really interesting to see different backgrounds of the competitors and what different ways led them to this fascinating hobby. Some information about sewing techniques and fashion styles is given for people like me 😄

Thanks for the heads up @Big Blue Sky 👍
I love The Sewing Bee, didn't realise it was back.
Have seen that Claudia has been replaced by Joe Lycett this year. My daughter will be happy 😄.

My daughter first showed me some of his stand up clips a couple of years ago Hosta. He is very funny.
I need to find episode 1 on iPlayer now.

I've seen him on lots of other stuff, mock the week, HIGNFY etc, just wasn't sure how he'd be on SB.
Why do some of them make life so complicated?

Last night finished watching the last and final episode of A Place to Call Home.
It was a lovely ending, they did it well.

I have all 10 episodes saved up to watch, the weather has been so lovely that I have been out in the garden, and then with one thing and another I haven't found the time. I want to give it my undivided attention !
