@NoraGW, Am I the only person who has no problem whatsoever with the Forum layout and use?
no. I've got no problems either Hosta. Or, if I have, I haven't found them yet  :)

@Pauline 7 - that's related to the verification problem we have at the minute - we're working on a solution to verify everyone in one big motion.

@Hazel -1 - I'm afraid we can't do anything about the posting box at the end of every page - but just ignore it and skip to the next page. The issue with the posts disappearing is related to the verification problem we have - there shouldn't be an issue with the posting box.

@KT53 - what they said! ^ Seems a few people haven't spotted this function so I'll add a new message to the Discussions page.

@Hostafan1 - thankfully you are one of many

:/ Most of my problems are sorted except for three.

Emojis or smilies always appear at the start of my post when I post them at the end of a sentence.

Photos appear in back to front order, but that happened with the last site too.

I can't see most of the photos, unless they have been reduced. I have very slow Internet, but the problem wasn't nearly so bad on the old site and there is no problem on another forum I do. It has really spoilt the photo gallery for me.

That post won't edit. I wanted to add that there wasn't a problem with photos on the trial run of this forum.

@Busy-Lizzie - sorry you're still having problems. All I can do is repeat my previous advice that you use a different browser to Internet Explorer, it's a discontinued browser which we don't recommend anybody uses to get the best performance. I understand you'd rather not change your browser, so that leaves me out of ideas I'm afraid. We'll keep an eye on the emoji issue - this is the first I've heard of it.

I dumped IE donkey's years ago . I found it was full of virus. I use Chrome and have not found anything to fault it.

If I change to Chrome will it alter anything on my Laptop or my emails? I'm not very good at change as I'm well past the first flush of youth. When I was young calculators didn't exist, let alone computers and iPhones!

I don't remember anything detrimental happening when i dumped IE, but I'm not the most techy person either.

@Busy-Lizzie - no, changing your browser won't affect your emails or any of your personal files. You will lose any bookmarks, favourites etc that you have set in Internet Explorer, but you can copy the addresses and then paste them into your new browser, and re-save them. You will also lose saved login details, but again you'll just have to save these into your new browser and they'll be there as long as you keep them.
