I took three stems off of the eucalyptus yesterday, just leaving the three strongest. Today I have put all the small stuff through the shredder.  We don't need Vicks around here.  Just some buddlejas to shred now.
I hope you get an appointment soon, Pdoc.  Last time I tried to get an appointment, I was offered one three weeks away. I could have one sooner if it was an emergency. If it was an emergency I would be going to A&E.

In 3 weeks a minor ailment will either become a major problem or resolve itself!  Mad.

Having a good afternoon here.  The steam cleaner got excited and spurted all its water all over the dining room.  Lovely.  Sorted now but what a palaver.

Then OH came home to tell me the garage has phoned and can't repair Harry till early next week so I called to arrange to collect him as we need 2 jalopies on Monday and chappy said it will cost 860€ for the new fan for the cooling system.....  Ho Hum.

Oh bother, Obelixx, there is always another expense.
Water softener man came this morning to service it and said it needs replacing.

Hope the doc manages to squeeze you in soon punkdoc and you feel better soon.

Haircut this morning and meeting with my Notaire (also a family friend) to help fill in some forms. This house was bought as an SCI which is a limited company with shares owned by me and the children.

There was a demo in town, teachers and workers (fonctionaires) employed by the state are on strike. It made it impossible to get to the car park, people were driving round in circles as the main street was shut. There were banners with lists of grievances about taxes, price rises etc and other banners calling for "Frexit".

This afternoon there was a church meeting with tea and cake. So I haven't yet done any gardening. May go and finish pruning The Pilgrim rose that I started yesterday. Garden has never been such a mess at this time of year, but OH did some mowing this afternoon. Been cold today though, although sunny, frost this morning.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Evening all.
Several cubic metres of woodchip moved and raked level . I almost forgot about the stinkin' cold , apart from the soppin' wet hankie.
Oh, where's the wee " I'm about to puke" emoji gone?

Good evening. Isn't it great when you come home and remember that you made a Stew etc. the day before so you only need to warm it up! (Ok - even better if somebody else has done it - but you can't have it all!)
Hope you all doing ok - esp. Punkdoc.
    I'll check in later.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
