    Morning all.

Hope he's home safe, Pat.  A brave man, your hubby.

Gorgeous pics, Hosta - no snow on trees here, cos it's all blown off.  As Dove says - take care!  OH has just gone out cos he's volunteered as a signalman/crossing keeper on the Worth Valley railway.  It's not far to go, but he's having to go the long way round cos the road across the moors is blocked with snowdrifts.  At least there's a heater in the signal box...   :/

Because of the wind direction, our little road has a 3 foot clear area at one side.  The other side is banked up several feet deep against the wall.

I'm off to church in a bit.  If they have any sense, the elderly members of the congregation will be wrapped up warm at home.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I don't have the wide vista you have Hosta but we seem to have the same amount of snow. Yesterday it didn't settle on paths or roads but today it has in places. A good 2 inches on the greenery though. My  unheated greenhouse is still showing +2 though.
    Pat hope hubby stays safe.

It’s nearly 9 pm, and I just heard his voice on the radio saying they are back at the fire shed. He should be home soon. He’ll want a shower and his dinner. I feel I can breath again.

Phew!  We can breathe again too Pat ... been worrying with you ... as you know we have 'sort of' experience of these things.  It must be tough sometimes, having a hero for a husband ... but 'much respect' to you both from us

    Morning all.
Pat, your hubby will be glad to get home after a long day.
Hosta, lovely pics but you can keep the snow. Blue sky and sun here.

Thanks for all the good wishes BUT, he is going out there again tomorrow! I need somewhere to hide. I’m ready to scream.
He is taking Regina with him tomorrow because today’s offsider has to work.
