I saw JCC live when he supported Elvis Costello back in the late 70s.
He's not changed much since then.

    Correct.
I am a great fan and have seen him a few times. I agree he has not changed since 78/79, when I first saw him.

    Evening all.
(Does anyone else reflexively put their hands behind their back and bend at the knees in response to that phrase?).

LP I hope your grand daughter is feeling better  :(

Productive day,  although not in the garden. Went to various shops and got various things one or all of us have needed for ages. I'm not a big shopping fan so tend to avoid it, but my delays were getting ridiculous. Glad to have it out of the way. Also managed to get a hair appointment for tomorrow - very very overdue and they were all booked up for weeks but I got a cancellation. It will be nice to feel like me again :).

Liri, the band activity sounds fab! Do you have to choose an instrument in advance? Or will they let you try different ones and pick your favourite?

I've never seen Elvis Costello live, but I have spoken to him on the phone a couple of times  <3

A poet friend (now living in Moscow) used to quote JCC all the time back in the day  B)

Everyone sounds to have a good day ... Hope LilyP's grand daughter has had a good day too.  I just want to get this weekend and the promised cold snap over and done with so I can sow some seeds with a modicum
    of hope and positivity.   :)

Forgot about Liri's brass!  Having lived 25 years in Belgium for me it would have to be a saxophone!   Adolphe Sax came from Dinant, a lovely wee town on the Meuse river.

Love the sound of the saxaphone, Merri is learning it.  It's  not exactly a beautiful sound at the moment, but give it time....

Put some chicken in the oven for my tea and forgot it for over an hour mmmm let's just say it's well done.
