    Hi all.
Woke to the sound of the birds chattering, always a good start to the day.

Just picked up some Dahlia tubers from the PO., another plus to start the day.

Hoping to do some mooching outside, although everything is very wet.

Don't think I will be needed down south anymore, it was great fun, if that is not a totally inappropriate thing to say.

Hope you feel better soon Hosta, I'm afraid my remedy would not be to your taste.

There'll be a batch with your name on Hosta  :)

@Pdoc ... you have a PM  :)   Glad you're home safe and sound.

    Morning all!

Sorry you're still snotty, Hosta... but better today than when you start the 12-hour shifts.  Hope @Clarington is bearing up too, and that your ear isn't too painful, Clari.  It's depressing to have to wait so long for a specialist appointment.  A new job would certainly ease the pain, from what you say...

More sn.w, LilyP and LG?  Haven't we had enough?  Who does the ordering around here??   :o

Glad your visit was useful, Punkdoc, and you got back ok.

    Thanks Dove.

Of course you are correct, how could you doubt yourself. :)

Morning all, posting from phone while at work, Hosta, the sweet pea seeds were a bargain, 50p for a posh multi pack with five sets of posh seeds, should have been £6.99, seeds past date, I'll take the risk! 😉 hope you feel better soon, have a lovely day all.

Hi everyone it's stopped raining  at last so I might make it further than the greenhouse,  though the ground will still be saturated.
Hosta if it's the same bug we have here you have another week to go at least - sorry.
I heard the forecaster say snow but assumed it was going to be oop north.

It's the east side of the country I think, but far enough in to hit this bit of SE London / Kent. I heard about it on a Croydon website, then checked BBC weather for here and yup - snow. Nothing like the snow a couple of weeks ago, I doubt it'll be too bad down here, not sure what the forecast is for elsewhere.

Have done my plant identification revision, now I'm allowed to go outside!

Got my gardening gear on and headed off to take a coffee to OH and ended up unwinding a very tangled kiwi which we will train on wires stretched along the west facing wall of my party barn.  Don't get excited, it's full of stuff at the mo but I have plans..........

Looks like we're expecting rain here on Thursday.  That'll please OH who has golf plans.   I shall be wifely and clean and bake ready for new gardening friends coming round on Saturday pm.  Need a cake for Sunday's willow weaving too.

Off to do some weeding and sowing now.  See you later.

Just been listening to someone on Radio 2 waxing lyrical about the sunshine ....... none here .... it's enough to make you want to move from one of the driest counties in the kingdom  :/
