My most treasured "elderly" garment is a polo-necked woollen sweater which belonged to my Dad when he was in Canada during the war, in the RAF.  It was his ski jumper, but shrank in the wash and was given to me because it no longer fitted him, when I was about 16.  It was a standing joke between us that I had "stolen" his favourite ski jumper.

It gets an airing as my gardening sweater a couple of times a year, around his birthday in February.   :)<3

Definitely not Hosta!s garden, don’t think you’d find a pelargonium on his patio😀
I've got a scented leaf one in the tunnel. Does that count?

Lovely pink sky here.  Wonder if the weather will be OK tomorrow, want to prune a couple of climbing roses and need to do a bit of sorting in the greenhouse.  LilyP, just the thought of Mabel at ballet makes me LOL.  She's told her mum she wants to do karate as well as rugby.

Hi everyone. Just waking up to a foggy morning. Happy mother’s day to those of you who are eligible ( not you Punkdoc and Hosta 😏). We have Mothers Day in May here.

Mothers' Day in France is in May too, Pat.

Taking OH out to a restaurant tomorrow for his birthday lunch as he missed it because of his cataract op.

Fog has gone and now a bit hot outside for my flannelette shirt. Expecting about 30 again. I’m still picking cucumbers and zucchini’s. The tomatoes are easing off. Hubby is planning a meal of chick peas and spinach for this evening, so I’ve to cut some spinach as well as some of the cavaleronero.
