I have been clicking on the bookmark for the old site, I had to come out completely and do a google search for gardeners world.com to get in, and log in again.

My daughter put the most wonderful post in Facebook this morning

    I'm soooo jealous.

Hi folks. Glad to be back. On nanna duty at the moment so on phone not laptop. Will be playing with all the new features when I get home. So glad to get jump to last read back. Really missed it.

Still can’t post on the Laptop. This iPad is infuriating, the keyboard keeps disappearing and it corrects spellings incorrectly anticipating, thus changing what I wanted to say. The cursor won’t always go where I want it to. Maybe it’s on the blink, OH has been known to drop it!

Hadn’t much time to miss the forum, though. We flew from Bergerac (16°) to Stansted, freezing, flight delayed because of snow. I was glad I’d booked a hotel, very nice, comfortable bed, good meal, on a winter reduced price. We drove up the A11 on the 2nd March, roads had been gritted up to our road in the village, but that wasn’t far. Glad we did the journey then as it snowed in the afternoon. Saturday’s flight was cancelled.

We wanted to be here by Monday for the Old Boys’ Day at OH’s old school. The snow had nearly melted by then. First we took OH’s SIL out for lunch, she’s been in a care home since her husband died. OH really enjoyed the day, he met a class mate he hadn’t seen for nearly 60 years. They never stopped talking!

Can’t type anymore, iPad keyboard is almost covering the page.

    Correct AuntyRach.
Thought I might regularly put different lyrics on, but I will probably be too lazy.

    Pdoc

It's getting quite like old times here  <3

We've been out to pick up a mic for a friend of my son's ... I'll take it with me when I visit tomorrow ... then we picked up fish & chips and mushy peas and had an indulgent supper.  Think we've earned it ....... OH has washed up and put the kettle on and we're both slumped on the sofa in a clean and shiny sitting room.  The only job left is to treat the Brazilian leather pouffes with some leather balsam ........ it'll smell wonderful

Careful Dove, Hosta may get a bit excited with talk of Brazilian pouffes :)

    Woohoo - lots of people!
Yes Hosta, I've been here, waiting, since Tuesday evening :o. I got in accidentally, not quite sure what I did but I was going to search for posts about pond plants and found myself in here. It's been a bit quiet.
Lovely day today - sowed chillies, pruned back an elder, tidied epimediums and twisty willow etc. It was bloomin' freezing in the wind though - I needed to be wrangling a pruning saw to keep myself warm.
