Hurray, Nora has done something and I can sign in with Internet Explorer, so it's not all underlined in red.
Oh, I wrote that a while ago but didn’t send it and it’s still there! I’m now using the iPad as the laptop has been tidied away off the dining room table for tonight’s dinner party. OH has set the table.
I’ve been making Tiramisu and blueberry mousse. Next will be the first course, smoked salmon and asparagus muffins. Already did the spiced pork casserole yesterday.
It was sunny this morning so at last I’ve dealt with the front flower bed. Still at the Norfolk cottage, back to France on Tuesday. Must leave it ready for daughter and her family who will be the next to stay here.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
hi i am pleased to see the forum back again and to thank every one who worked on it. we have had some more rain but still needs a lot more. We are busy having the outside of the house painted, all the walls have to be painted so its quite a big job but they have been at it a week but should be finished by thursday. Pat our temps are beginning to drop and it stays darker in the morning.
A sig is just an automatic signature, there will be one that appears at the bottom of my post. For work emails etc it would be used for (eg) job title and contact details. On forums it's usually a few details about the person or a favourite quote / song words etc. On a parenting forum I used to use it was mainly a countdown until due date, or names and ages of kids. Here I guess it could be favourite plant / type of garden / location etc etc. Whatever you want. Just be aware that it's possible to switch them off so you don't see them, so don't rely on everyone reading the forum knowing what your sig is.

Hello folks ... I'm back from visit to son ... life is hectic. SGL a sig is a signature ... I've got one which appears at the bottom of my posts (but you can't see it on phones). I started off having a sort of literary quote type one but decided that it was too bulky and think this one is better and more helpful. Now I'd better find out what everyone's been up to ...
