A bit of excitement here. Cousin has returned from town to advise that a high up person from Land Rover UK searched him out for an interview and photographs of his old Land Rover. He’s really chuffed.
Managed to transplant some of my seedlings, so I’m happy with that. Lots more to put put, but need to prepare more garden beds.

Morning Pat Logan and those to come. Chucking it down here again. I suppose the trees I planted are enjoying it but I suspect no one else is. Happy Easter 🐣 to those who celebrate it.

    Good morning all  :)
Still overcast and dreary here however it will be bright and sunny in Wonky's home  B)
We'll call at the farm shop on the way as I did last time ... Wonky likes their sausages and I will get something nice for tomorrow as MIL is visiting on her way home from giving a ukelele concert for the Cats Protection League in Thetford.
Possibly slow roasted lamb with potatoes Boulangere, then it won't matter what time she arrives ...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Morning all,
Grey and overcast but dry at the moment.
Snap Dove slow roast Greek lamb here tomorrow :p
Can I ask anyone have experience of polytunnels I want a new one for the allotment but the more you read the more confusing it becomes :|
Off to the garden while it's still dry see you later have a good day all.

Just realised it's Saturday and not Easter Sunday.  🙄

Getting ahead of yourself Yvie 😜.
Mr C is a big Land Rover fan Pat - I’ll tell him to keep an eye out for pictures of your event 🤓
Lizzie - its black 😍. And the same make as OH’s - because we know an excellent little independent garage that looks after our cars very well for us, and he specialises in this type.  He’s had a bit of a challenge these last couple of years keeping my Audi ticking along.

Dry but grey and dismal .....no surprises there then 😫

The Land Rover is - Series 3 Land Rover game. Only built in Australia for Australia, 1979, canary yellow. Hope this means something to your hubby Chicky.😀

Morning all, afternoon Pat ☺your right Pat, I'm so very much happier, thank you.😊although I'm working longer, the work isn't repetitive, the people are nice and the pay is better so all round gaining in confidence too!
The house has the most amazing smell off curry goat! Looking forward to tomorrows meal! Now have massive amount of kitchen clearing and cleaning to do, takes a lot to prepare goat but worth it, one of those times I wish I had a dishwasher though! Better tidy before Dove gets here! Have a lovely day all!

    Morning all again.
I eventually fell asleep somewhere after 3am. Rubbish!!
Tosca this afternoon so the rain doesn't matter.
Pat , can we see a photo of the yellow landy please? I'm intrigued.

@Hampshire Hog, what did you want to know about polytunnels? I suspect mine are bigger than would be allowed on an allotment, but if I can give advice, I'd be happy to.
