    Morning all.

We were going to take the tractor tyre to the tyre place as it is leaking and worn, need to order another, but just remembered the plumber is coming to look at the water softener with a view to replacing it in half an hour. He's usually late. Tyre place closes 12 - 2pm for lunch. Maybe we'll go to Leclerc SM after the plumber has been. 10.35am now. Didn't do a weekly shop last week.

BL ... have a word with Wonky ... I'm sure she can order you a tyre ... and she delivers ... not sure whether you're in her patch when you're in France tho .............you are when you're in the UK ... but it'll be a bit big for you to take home in your suitcase.

Good morning everyone.  Woken at 5am by a frisky Cosmos so read a while and then dozed on and off till 9:30.  Feeling a bit bleugh now.

Apricot and almond cakes in the oven - one for patchwork and one for the farmer neighbours who both have the flu, badly enough for otherwise cast iron Luc to go to the doc's.   It's mild today after a wet night and more rain expected for the next 2 days so I'll be able to finish Possum's bag - once I get some more needles.  Bent a size 18 denim needle yesterday now that I'm sewing the sides to the bottom strip and zip section............

Thanks for the reminder Busy.  Need to get ours booked in for its annual tickle to check oil filters and sharpen the blades.

Have a good day everyone and hugs to Pdoc and anyone else feeling poorly.

The sun is shining here so a brief stroll around the garden ... not sure whether to remove fleece from susceptible pots etc or wait until after the promised cold snap ... I'm dithering ...

I’m in the same situation Dove. Prediction for the morning is zero. Crazy. I’ve still got tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini’s producing out there, 😳. It’s supposed to be autumn, not winter .
In bed now and really looking forward to sleep.
    Catch up tomorrow.

    Afternoon all.
A full morning's gardening done and will do more this afternoon as rain forecast for tomorrow.
BL, good to know that you have got into the long border.
WW, you can now enjoy your gardening at the weekends.

Hello Joyce! I do now enjoy gardening asset the weekend although the weather forecast only arranged nice weather for when I'm at work! Could have been useful in the last job! But we have had cold wet or snowy weekends since I started this job, not that I've let it stop me gardening at the weekends! 😉 hope you are having some nice sunshine!
