    Hi all.
Beautiful sunny day after heavy frost.
Planning to prune some of the Cornus' around the pond, probably means I will fall in. :)
Also need to start moving stuff out of the greenhouse, as have no window space left in the house for seedlings.
Good news about NHS pay today, although not sure why Drs. don't deserve anything.
How can you lie there and think of England

If only everyone got paid what they " deserve " be it doctors, "celebrities" sports people or bin collectors or check out operators.

    Morning.
Exciting news re the NHS pay. Punkdoc - they are only including the 'banded' Agenda For Change workers so have conveniently excluded doctors.
I agree there Hosta! The footballers on minimum wage and the nurses having five star holidays and new cars etc - that's ideal in my opinion!

Have a a good day one and all.

Heavy frost here, but sunny outside. I want to go up the garden to sow some seeds in the greenhouse, but I know if I go, the delivery driver for the two parcels I am expecting will arrive, and then post a note through telling me to pick it up miles away, which is what I was trying to avoid.

NHS pay my understanding is that Doctors & Dentists have already agreed separate deals. My OH has been stuck on the same pay for nearly 10 years as have a lot of the other grades as AuntyRach says. As always it is spread over a long period (3 years) so it's still below inflation.

Well, I'm back from tennis ... won my first service game to love shock D don't know how that happened  Sadly my partner couldn't repeat it but we still had an enjoyable match D

Annoyingly, as I went back to my car the alarm beeped to indicate there'd been a problem ... I walked around the car and saw the passenger side rear wheel arch had some nasty fresh scrapes, probably from a big 4WD tyre and wheel ... grrrrr twisted

There hadn't been anyone parked in the adjacent space when I parked there so someone had just swung in, dropped something off and driven away, leaving my poor car (known as Lola) with a scraping rolleyes

Not what you expect in a Mormon church car park they're usually very community minded  ............. Just as well I'm not too sensitive about Lola's appearance .....
