The cookery school books are good tho Dove.  I have the vegetarian one and there are some brilliant recipes in it.  Also the South American one which someone gave me and which I like less cos there's lots of beef which I find can be a very boring meat, even when well brought up.   I also like the way she kept those two chaps in order on Great British Menu.  Don't like her replacement.

Haven't watched QT for years.  Too frustrating and never changes anything when someone does come up with a good idea.

A lovely start to Sunday. Hubby has been called out to a bushfire. Don’t know exactly where.

Thanks Yviestevie. We are experiencing extremely high winds all over the area. In Victoria there are out of control bushfires threatening several towns. Not a nice way to start the day. At least Darwin can now start their mopping up. The cyclone has moved over to the west.

Makes our cold snap sound pretty insignificant.

Good morning all  :) Pat, I hope he's back soon so you can relax. Remember no news is always good news.
Not much snow here ... what there is has blown into rills and ridges and frozen hard. I hear it's much worse elsewhere ... Lincs sounds bad ... keep safe and warm GWRS and everyone  :)
