Our snow was melting nicely until about 5pm when a new lot covered everything again. I am quite glad we don't have a condensing boiler they sound more trouble than they are worth.

Not sure if you'll get much sense from me this evening ... I'm full of a very good moussaka, topped up with a very good Cotes du Rhone  ;)

You have been a chatty lot today so excuse me please if I don't mention all of you but Pat, pleased your OH is home and safe and you too Hosta and anyone else who had to go out in snowy conditions.

It's been a long day and I had a bad sleep so i'm off to bed but this is what I did today

A tricky little technical number which turned out better than I thought it would after the morning's efforts.   Lovely day with some very friendly people and a shared lunch with personal and Vendée specialities.  I took a Borrowdale tea bread.

Other people did obelisks (poor design compared to what Clare Wilks showed my group in 2007) but some lovely little bird feeders and nests.

Hands feel a bit sore now and I'm yawing so good night all.  See you tomorrow after a day learning Hardanger embroidery at patchwork group.

    Evening all.

Church, then friends to lunch, then long chats to my four children on the phone then TV so I've only just got here. Wish I could see all the photos, Internet is too slow.

Hope you get your water back, punkdoc, that and lack of heating are the worst things to be without in winter.

Morning all. The wind has stopped at last, so a nice sunny laundry day. I went for a walk down to the Pinoaks and got some progress photos.
