Evening all image thank you everyone for encouragement and congratulations! Glad the server didn't change over while I was without work, would have been lonely without you all!

LG, BusyL and DL, the work is stores person for an agricultural machinery hire company. Nice people, not girlie work, (which doesn't suit me!) So I'll be sourcing parts, talking to farmers and suppliers so quite varied image it shouldn't hurt my hands at all as there are no repetitive elements to the work, some phone, some PC, some manual.

Lirio, weekend gardener only! And I think I'll start enjoying gardening again as it won't feel like punishment anymore! image

Dove are you remembering the fondue we had a Roberto's in Florence? Think it was our last meal there before we left to come home, I as only seven but remember it vividly! Haven't had one since but mmmmmmmmm I'd love one!!

  • Wonky, I was actually thinking of the last time we ate at your friend and mine's at The Old Bakery image  before we went to Provence ......... think that's the last time we had a beef fondue.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Evening all.

Flippin' 'eck but it's cold. It was -2 at 5pm.

I've cancelled my pergola rescue visit until the end of the month. Forecast there is due to be a max of 0C ( "feels like -7C) so we've decided to reschedule.

Punkdoc, I'm sorry if you took our comments as criticism , but, as has been said  ,  we're all right behind you, love your dedication and commitment,we have huge admiration for you and your abilities, but you're not in the best condition to be heading out there. Any criticism is born of love and  concern , not just for you but for Moira too.

A nice warming beef casserole is being served up, so I'd best go.

    Catch up in the morning.

    Devon.

    I am coming home,

    I am mightily relieved.

Yes I am not well and yes it does scare me,

    See original post

I think there’s a reason why things do or don’t happen, and we may need to accept that.

I do believe we’re not always the ones who do the choosing; often we’re, perhaps, chosen.  As Hopkins puts it,

What I do is me: for that I came

Evening all. What a chatty lot you’ve been while I was sleeping.

its the last day of Feb here, so I’m thinking that

Punkdoc will be relieved to be left in peace for a while while the site is off air.

    have a good sleep everyone,
