Chickweed and groundsel can be a nightmare without knowing about their ability to host pests. The blighters grow and reproduce so fast they get everywhere. Just remember that your friendly garden birds will hoover up the aphids and then you can worry about other stuff.
I'm currently debating whether or not to make some naan breads for the chuck. Like I said, a quiet, pottering sort of day here.
I do hope Chicky and FG are OK as well as their chicklets and fairylets.

We have frog spawn, it’s too early? last year they spawned in February and I kept it covered up as we had very cold weather, frosts and ice, we seem to be having the same this year. Silly frogs!
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
I am finding studying so much harder than I did a few years back.
I spent my whole professional life doing exams, and have to admit I enjoyed them.
Now I find trying to fit in 15-20 hours a week almost impossible. Combined with the complexity, I am not sure whether I shall ever manage to get this degree, but at least I am truly fascinated by the subject.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Know what you mean, LG. I did a bacteriology course during my nurse training, started seeing bacteria everywhere!
Don't think I'd dare try the Open University now, memory is not what it used to be. Though life you pick up so much information and memories that I think the brain can't take any more Nearly all the Latin plant names that I know I learnt when I was young, the ones I've tried to learn since I've been over 60 just won't stay in my head.
Chicky is OK, Obelixx, just taking a break.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
It's tough trying to get one's brain back into the swing of things isn't it Pdoc ... that's why I did my MA straight after my degree .......... having restarted my grey matter once, I thought I'd better keep it going while the going was good
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Ive got a similar problem with retention. I’m trying to be part of the U3A Ukelele group and not only have I forgotten any chords I knew about 25 years ago, but I can’t remember the ones we are using now. Talk about trying to keep up. And, that’s without trying to learn the various rhythms. I just pretend to strum whilevstill scrambling to make my fingers go where they’re supposed to go. It’s really funny though.
Catch up tomorrow - as usual it’s after midnight so I can only catch up for a few hours each night.
We heard our woodpecker for the first time this morning, lovely to hear even if it is our wood he is working his way round! Frogspawn visible yesterday, when the ice melted, I wonder if it could have been some kind of insulation?
Talla and I have been asked to visit another hospital, we are getting busier and busier so I thought I might try the other dog and see if he is suitable. He adores being cuddled but is a bit ”bouncy”

I believe that is a scientific fact that after the age of 27 your brain gets full up so stuff falls out one side, but you can fill it up from the other side!!
