LP snow AND lightning sounds like an impressive, if scary, combination. Stay warm, and stay safe.
It has become very chilly here - well, chilly for London anyway.
Liri, I made the stew the same as I always do - Mum's recipe, basic though sacred in my family. Added a bit of chopped kale, only. I don't know if it's because it's cold or I was particularly hungry, but it's the best one I've ever made. Bow and Trill agreed. Hope the goose stock worked well.

It did, thanks, LG. It was quite dark, meaty stock which went well with the beef and mushrooms. A few bendy root veg got incorporated too, and we had baked spuds and sprouts too.
Glad your stew was appreciated! It makes the effort worth while...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Good morning everyone. Woke up at 7:30, fed the pussies and went back to bed and woke up at 10am! Who knew dentists and sewing could be so exhausting?
Sunny this morning and bright and we had another 5mm in the night which seems to me to be the right way round - unless you're a nocturnal animal of course.
I can't see any doc telling Trump he's insane without first having a good backup plan to survive the fallout.

Joyce I've been looking at all the excellent gritter names in Scotland here: http://scotgov.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=2de764a9303848ffb9a4cac0bd0b1aab (if you put a few letters, eg: grit, into the search box then you get a range of suggestions). I still think Doncaster's 'Gritsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Anti-Slip Machiney' takes some beating though!

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Oh no! Karen had only just had hers done when I saw her on Saturday, she went in on the day before,
she thought that was going to be the answer. ?
Morning everyone. I love the gritty names.
Good morning all
G'day Pat
Lyn, it seems that Wonky's problem may well not be Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, hence the steroid injections not working and the new blood tests.

Hi Dove. Just finished dinner and flopped in front of TV news rubbish. Did you know that Trump has had a health check and he’s well and sane!
They would say that wouldn't they Pat ... who wants to tell him he's doolally flip?
As the children in the playground used to say 'it takes one to know one'.
Everything is relative ...

I see we’re on the same wave length.
